Our customized IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program allows our clients to get the steady, ongoing support they need for difficult periods in their recovery. It includes both individual and group sessions with qualified addiction counselors and medical professionals who help guide individuals through the day-to-day challenges they are experiencing. Our customized IOP is not intended to be a long-term solution but a bridge to stable maintenance.

 

Our IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program provides an array of clinical programming with topics being 2-3 hours in duration and offered four times per week. Our clients have the convenience and flexibility to attend IOP virtually; i.e. via telemedicine or in person.

 

Within our IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program, we provide our clients the opportunity to learn skills and techniques to help cope with the challenges of everyday life that can impact their recovery from alcohol and other drugs.

 

To help in sustaining a healthy lifestyle after treatment, we provide our clients with the required support in their pursuit of employment, school, and social engagement.

 

At MHS, we realize that sustained recovery must be holistic, it must include positive integration and interaction with family and the community. Consequently, based on the fact that stress and addiction negatively impact the ability to maintain and foster the vital and important relationship with family and the community, we have cohesively included in our treatment plan, methodologies that foster overall wellness; a lattice of support on which to hang the building blocks of recovery.

 

Our IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program equips our patients with the skills to handle alcohol and drug cravings and triggers, learn how to maximize effective communication, improve health knowledge and wellness and learn how to build and sustain healthy relationships.

 

Our clients have the option and choice to maintain their recovery journey in our other programs and levels of care, after their IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program. Equally, any client can opt to go back to our IOP - Intensive Outpatient Program, if the need arises.

 

MHS Outpatient Services employs experienced, licensed psychotherapists and counselors, as well as a psychiatrist, who collaborate to provide each client with highly personalized health services to aid in entering recovery and reducing the symptoms of mental health conditions.
